Benefits Compliance Specialist

As a Benefits Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective administration practices related to compliance of the benefits programs. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and coordinating tasks with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure company benefit plans and practices comply with applicable rules and regulations.
• Conduct complex data analysis and manage non-discrimination testing for nonqualified plans.
• Develop and deliver benefit compliance training in collaboration with vendors.
• Manage relationships with benefits brokers and vendors regarding compliance topics.
• Support the development and monitoring of U.S. group insurance plan expense and governance process.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to perform role responsibilities effectively.
• Support annual and ad-hoc projects focusing on plan/policy compliance.

• 7+ years of experience in benefit administration and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
• Knowledge in benefits compliance, reporting, and administration.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory and legislative imperatives related to benefits programs.
• Ability to work with large data and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with vendor-relations and multi-state employers preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners.
