SummaryAs a Boutique Manager at Parfums Christian Dior in Montreal, you will be the ultimate leader and brand ambassador of your boutique, representing Parfums Christian Dior in the market. You will be responsible for managing the boutique, your team, and creating a positive and motivating environment. Your mission is to develop and lead your team to maximize store performance (sales and customer management) while ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.
Responsibilities- Achieve retail sales targets and contribute to store and service KPIs on a monthly basis.
- Exemplify the Dior customer experience and sell Dior products by meeting customer needs and providing memorable experiences.
- Educate customers about the Dior brand and products, sharing Dior stories at every customer interaction.
- Lead the team by example on the sales floor and ensure a welcoming environment in the boutique.
- Report store performance to management weekly as needed.
- Develop and execute monthly/quarterly strategies to support business and client development goals.
- Collect and report market and competitive trends and identify business development opportunities.
- Ensure the availability and use of omnichannel service offerings.
- Define and track realistic individual KPIs for employees and motivate staff through clear communication, coaching, and constant feedback.
- Train and develop team members' skills and knowledge using Dior training tools and materials.
- Foster a positive work environment and create a culture of psychological safety, feedback, diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
- Supervise the annual evaluation process for all store employees.
- Recruit top talent embodying PCD's mission, vision, and values, and play an active role in their integration, development, and retention.
- Manage schedules, leave requests, payroll, commissions, overtime, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training programs as needed.
Requirements- 3+ years as a business or boutique manager directly managing a team of 5 to 10 people, preferably in a luxury retail environment or perfumery brand.
- Proven experience in achieving retail results (sales and profitability).
- Proven experience working in a luxury retail environment.
- Experience in executing well-planned and successful prestigious brand events.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of beauty and rich vocabulary regarding the beauty universe, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional ability to connect with clients and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience in people management (able to lead, manage, motivate, coach, and develop people).
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, mastery of the "local language".
- Digital savvy; experience/comfortable with POS operational systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, HRIS systems, PowerPoint, client tracking systems, and Point of Sale (POS).
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
