Boutique Watchmaker

As a Boutique Watchmaker at Jaeger-LeCoultre in New York City, you will provide immediate, high-quality service to clients, diagnosing and repairing watches and accessories. You will thrive in a fast-paced luxury retail environment, utilizing your extensive watchmaking expertise and exceptional client service skills.

• Accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of watches and accessories, including quartz, mechanical, automatic, chronograph, and complicated movements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop, calibrating and maintaining all watchmaking equipment.
• Participate in routine technical skills assessments and communicate effectively with boutique personnel and clients.
• Engage in brand training and participate in Maison-sponsored events, including masterclasses and product launches.

• Accredited Watchmaking Diploma or Certification, or equivalent demonstrable skills.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in watchmaking, preferably in a retail setting.
• Proven experience teaching and explaining watchmaking concepts.
• Proficiency in repairing high-complication calibers and strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
