Responsibilities
- Deliver sales and profit performance using key tools and resources to drive selling
- Support execution of company and store initiatives and maintain store standards
- Participate in team training and provide feedback to management on successes and opportunities
- Engage clients through creative outreach and community initiatives to broaden customer base
- Support alternative purchasing processes and digital product discovery tools
- Operate register and assist customers on the sales floor with exceptional service
- Uphold company policies and promote a collaborative environment centered on the customer
- Assist in networking and sourcing talent for the store
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience in a complex high volume specialty environment preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
- Ability to stand, walk, move for multiple hours and maneuver around sales floor and stock areas
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate climbing as needed
- Ability to operate the register and use store technologies
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and possible overnight shifts and travel
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
