Responsibilities
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals through proactive customer engagement
- Support company initiatives and represent brand expectations on the sales floor
- Participate in team training and utilize retail technologies to enhance sales
- Engage in networking to begin building a clientele
- Provide feedback to management on successes and opportunities
- Support alternative purchasing processes such as ship to home and virtual services
- Ensure sales floor and store standards are maintained at all times
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience preferred in a high volume specialty environment
- Effective communication skills with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register and remain on feet for multiple hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver around store areas
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and possible travel
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
