Commerce Systems Architect

Summary

The Commerce Systems Architect supports the SAP S/4HANA implementation and commerce systems integrations for Hermès Americas. This hands-on role connects business needs with technical solutions across logistics, omnichannel, and data systems, while coordinating with regional and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the SAP S/4HANA implementation and pre-induction projects.
• Oversee commerce systems integrations, configurations, development, testing, enhancements, and process flows.
• Support data migration, system updates, and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Build and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test scenarios.
• Partner with business leaders to assess workflows and define functional and technical needs.
• Coordinate with deployment teams and global partners to deliver regional business requirements.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of IT experience, including at least five years in retail IT.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; an MBA or other master's degree preferred.
• Experience with project management, retail systems, and SAP S/4HANA or a similar retail ERP.
• Familiarity with Cegid POS, Magento, mobile apps, and Manhattan Associates WMS.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work regularly in person at a company-designated location.
