Concierge

Summary

The Concierge provides superb customer service to clients, acting as an ambassador for the store and ensuring a high standard of service. The role manages inquiries in person, by phone and email, supports client services and the sales floor, and assists with events and vendor relationships. The Concierge maintains expert knowledge of store layout and local community recommendations while ensuring compliance with privacy and cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently excellent customer service to all clients as an ambassador
• Maintain expert knowledge of the store and product locations
• Manage incoming inquiries and requests in person, phone and email
• Respond to internal and external client inquiries and complaints within 24 hours
• Process gift cards for internal and external clients
• Support client services department and act as POS super user to assist sales floor
• Develop and maintain relationships with concierge community and vendors
• Assist with store events including lists, ticket collection and RSVPs
• Ensure event communications and plasma screen text are up-to-date

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a customer service environment
• Good working knowledge of computer software such as Word Excel and Outlook
• Ability to develop vendor and community relationships
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
• Knowledge of privacy policies regulations and cybersecurity measures
