Summary
Manage daily operations of a cosmetics counter within a luxury department store, driving sales and ensuring high standards of customer service and visual merchandising. Lead the counter team to meet performance goals while maintaining brand presentation and client relationships. Act as the primary liaison between brand and store leadership to implement promotions and product launches.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and achieve individual and counter targets through coaching and performance management.
- Lead, train, and schedule counter staff to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and visual merchandising to brand standards.
- Execute product launches, demonstrations, and in store events.
- Build and maintain client relationships including follow up and clienteling activities.
- Handle cash reconciliation and daily sales reporting accurately.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and brand procedures.
- Coordinate with store management and brand representatives on promotions and displays.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of retail management or counter leadership experience.
- Proven luxury beauty sales track record and clienteling skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and inventory management.
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with point of sale systems and sales reporting.
- Professional grooming and presentation consistent with luxury brand standards.
