Designated Selling Associate - Birkenstock - NYC Flagship

Summary

The Designated Selling Associate represents the Birkenstock brand at the NYC Flagship and delivers one-on-one customer service to drive sales. This role focuses on building lasting customer relationships, educating customers and peers on product and fit, and achieving sales goals through both in-store and digital selling tools.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using tools such as text, social media, and reservations.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and drive appointment-based selling.
• Provide product knowledge, style advice, and honest fit recommendations to customers and educate peers via product meetings.
• Perform merchandising and operational tasks including stocking, re-merchandising, displays, price markdowns, merchandise transfers, and cleaning.
• Open Nordstrom Rewards accounts and provide feedback to management to improve assortment.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate customer relationships and sell on the floor.
• Comfort working in a competitive team environment, prioritizing multiple tasks, and adapting to a flexible schedule.
• Ability to read sales reporting in relation to goals and educate customers on brands and styling across price points.
• Physical ability to be on your feet for extended periods with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
