Designated Selling Associate - Broadway Plaza

Summary

The Designated Selling Associate drives sales for Nordstrom while representing a designated brand. This role provides personalized customer service, builds lasting customer relationships, and shares product and fashion knowledge with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, appointments, and customer follow-up.
• Build customer relationships and provide informed guidance on style, fit, and product value.
• Educate peers on brand trends and product knowledge, and share product feedback with the department manager.
• Maintain a customer-ready department by stocking, merchandising, processing markdowns and transfers, and cleaning.
• Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and supporting customers across departments as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build customer rapport.
• Ability to work effectively in a competitive team environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Ability to interpret sales reporting and educate customers about brands and products.
• Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, handle merchandise, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
