Summary
Responsible for driving sales and championing represented brands through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and appointment based selling. Works one on one with customers to build relationships, meet sales goals for in store and digital channels, and educate peers on brand trends and product details.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide personalized styling guidance on fit, value, and wardrobe completion
- Conduct product knowledge meetings and educate peers on brand trends and performance
- Drive appointment based selling during events and non event timeframes
- Perform department tasks including stocking, re merchandising, displays, price markdowns, transfers and cleaning
- Provide product feedback to the district manager to influence assortment
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relationships
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability based on business needs
- Comfort with high and low price points and ability to demonstrate product value
- Ability to read sales reporting in relation to goals
- Physical ability to be on feet 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
