Summary
Senior leader responsible for driving strategy and day to day operations for distribution, logistics and supply chain functions including forward and reverse logistics, 3PL partnerships, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure cost effective, scalable and high quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage internal and 3PL logistics sites to meet objectives for productivity, lead time, quality, cost and inventory accuracy
- Lead continuous improvement programs using lean and six sigma methodologies
- Plan and partner with distribution leadership to align operations with business needs and system enhancements
- Provide oversight and performance management for direct areas of responsibility
- Collaborate with brands and partners regionally and globally to improve planning and service levels for B2B and B2C
- Drive strategic initiatives to build a best in class logistics organization
- Participate in compliance efforts to meet legal and company requirements
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge through benchmarking and conferences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics or business preferred; master’s a plus
- Minimum 5 years management experience in operations supervising direct reports and diverse teams
- Experience with financial planning and managing OPEX and CAPEX
- Knowledge of TQM, Lean and Six Sigma concepts and continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of import/export, 3PL, international trade and business improvement
- Experience with SAP ERP and SAP Business Warehouse a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and organizational skills
