Summary
The Director of Workforce Management And Process Improvement will lead workforce planning, scheduling, optimization, and cross functional process improvement efforts. This role drives strategy using data analytics and workforce management systems to align staffing with business goals and operational needs, reporting to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workforce management strategies to optimize staffing and efficiency.
- Lead forecasting, scheduling, and real time management of workforce resources.
- Lead process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor workforce performance and identify trends.
- Collaborate with department leaders and HR to address staffing needs and solutions.
- Partner with functional teams to align workforce processes with company policies and labor regulations.
- Implement and maintain workforce management systems and tools.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the workforce management team to foster continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on workforce metrics and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in workforce management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience leading process improvement projects; Lean or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
- Strong knowledge of workforce management principles and tools.
- Proficiency with workforce management software and data analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to address workforce data discrepancies.
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
