Director, Stores Initiatives

Summary

The Director, Stores Initiatives leads the development and execution of cross‑functional programs to improve store operations, customer experience, and sales performance across the store fleet. This role defines strategy, pilots new initiatives in select locations, and scales successful programs through partnership with merchandising, store operations, technology, and store leadership. The Director is accountable for project planning, change management, and measurement of outcomes to deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development and rollout of store initiatives, from ideation and pilot to enterprise deployment.
• Partner with merchandising, operations, technology, and store leaders to align objectives, timelines, and resources.
• Manage cross‑functional project teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Design success metrics, analyze performance data, and iterate on programs to optimize results.
• Drive change management, training, and communications to ensure adoption at store level.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive retail operations or store program experience, including leadership of cross‑functional initiatives.
• Proven project management skills with experience running pilots and scaling programs across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with store leadership and corporate partners.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, retail management, or related field.
