Director of Client Events

As the Director of Client Events, you will lead the planning, budgeting, and production of all client events for Hermès in the United States. You will work closely with the VP of CDRM to ensure events align with strategic priorities and business needs, while managing an internal team and collaborating with international partners.

• Plan and execute the event calendar in collaboration with the VP of CDRM.
• Oversee and manage the events budget, ensuring adherence to allocations.
• Lead and supervise the events team to ensure high-quality and cost-effective event production.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless event operations.
• Maintain partnerships with international teams and ensure timely approvals.
• Travel to and oversee events on-site, ensuring successful execution.
• Develop and maintain a network of vendors for event production.
• Review vendor contracts and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Develop and animate the in-store hospitality program.
• Review and approve event and hospitality recaps for internal communication.

• 6+ years of experience in luxury events management.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Expert knowledge in event production and logistics management.
• Exceptional project management and planning skills.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in team leadership and motivation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
