Director of Transportation

As the Director of Transportation at Kering, you will lead and optimize transportation performance and international trade compliance across Kering Americas. Based in Wayne, NJ, you will drive strategy and execution, working cross-functionally with regional teams, global partners, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and cost efficiencies.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team aligned with organizational and brand objectives.
• Shape and communicate strategies for transportation, international trade, and duty optimization.
• Partner with leadership to align strategy with global logistics objectives.
• Maintain classification database and manage customs broker relationships.
• Oversee customs entry files and ensure compliance with USCBP guidelines.
• Provide oversight for all transportation flows and manage third-party relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement through technology and cost optimization strategies.
• Build and manage KPIs across trade compliance and transportation functions.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Customs Broker’s License or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in Import/Export, Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a thirst for learning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
