Distribution Planner

Summary

The Distribution Planner for the Americas supports regional distribution and allocation strategies across retail and wholesale channels. The role optimizes inventory flow, replenishment, stock balancing and allocation decisions to maximize sales and maintain appropriate stock levels across the region. This position partners with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Planning, Retail Operations and Logistics teams and is based in Wayne, NJ with flexibility to work from the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocation and replenishment strategies from regional warehouse to stores across all channels
• Monitor sales trends, deliveries and replenishment needs for permanent and seasonal product
• Optimize inventory flow, stock balancing and set target stock levels by SKU/store
• Support seasonal collection launches with initial allocations, buffer stock and replenishment planning
• Manage regional stock rebalancing, inter-store transfers and return processes
• Analyze sell-through, stock coverage and inventory productivity to inform allocation decisions
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Retail, Merchandising, Planning and Digital teams and communicate inventory risks and action plans

Requirements

• 3+ years in allocation, distribution planning, inventory planning or supply chain analysis
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or Tableau experience a plus
• Experience with ERP and WMS systems such as SAP, JDA or Manhattan
• Strong analytical, organizational and cross-functional communication skills
• Fluent English required; Spanish or French a plus
