Job Description

Summary

Lead the global transition of EDI from ECC to S/4 across North America, EMEA, and APAC, driving design, testing, training, and implementation to ensure a smooth migration and alignment to a common global ERP design. Collaborate with business, technical, testing, and change management partners to define EDI requirements, retire legacy platforms, and enable post go live support. The role requires up to 30% global travel and engagement with trading partners to streamline onboarding and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of EDI transition activities for SAP S/4 across multiple regions.
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver functional EDI requirements with a common global design.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure EDI architecture supports large transaction volumes and SLAs.
  • Rationalize and harmonize EDI mapping processes across customer, vendor, and logistics areas.
  • Define and implement transaction monitoring and correction procedures for EDI and edge platforms.
  • Execute retirement of legacy platforms and manage regional rollouts to the new EDI environment.
  • Partner with test management to define and execute SIT and UAT for EDI scenarios.
  • Work with change management to plan communications, training, and transition to post go live support.
  • Define and optimize trading partner onboarding processes to reduce time to live.

Requirements

  • 8 years minimum experience with SAP ECC and S/4 and deep SAP technical architecture knowledge.
  • Proven experience leading an EDI transition to SAP S/4, preferably in consumer goods or fashion apparel.
  • Deep working knowledge of SAP BTP IS Cloud Integration and AIF platforms.
  • Experience with ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards.
  • Strong understanding of product management, sales orders, shipments, billing, sourcing, and payments processes.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences.
  • Proven cross functional collaboration with business, IT, and external consulting partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 30 percent.
