Engineer 1 - Android Developer

As an Android Developer at Nordstrom, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating and testing robust mobile applications for our engaged customers. This hybrid role requires you to work onsite at Nordstrom's headquarters in Seattle, WA, at least three days a week, collaborating with talented developers and contributing to innovative solutions.

• Develop robust and scalable Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that meet user needs.
• Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends in Android development.
• Participate in product planning meetings, contributing insights on technical feasibility.

• 1+ years of experience in Android app development using Kotlin or Java.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience required.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and related libraries.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for learning and staying current with new technologies.
