Responsibilities- Lead the development of complex software systems delivered to customers.
- Work independently with a proactive approach to evolving business needs.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and define, scope, and estimate resulting stories.
- Ensure high code quality, testing, and automation, continuously seeking improvements.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Promote cloud-oriented solutions and support monitoring, telemetry, alerting, CI/CD pipelines, and Cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor teammates to adhere to best practices and provide a talent pipeline within Nordstrom.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.
Requirements- 3 to 5+ years of professional software delivery experience, ideally across the full stack.
- Deep experience in Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Ability to present technology choices and mentor other developers.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD and experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with Okta Workforce Identity tools and Cloud Identity Authentication and Access Management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related experience required.
