Engineer 1 - Customer Experience Platform

Summary

Engineer 1 on the Customer Experience Platform team contributes to design, build, test and maintain technology products that deliver customer experiences. This individual works on an agile team under direct supervision and is expected to follow secure coding practices and quality standards. The role is hybrid in Seattle with a requirement to work on site multiple days per week.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to code and design for platform components
• Collaborate with local and distributed team members
• Write and run unit and integration tests
• Measure and understand local scope and deliverables
• Conform to secure coding practices and system fundamentals
• Follow agile practices and participate in team planning
• Use version control tools for collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
• Background in data and technology
• Familiarity with object oriented languages such as Java Python Go NodeJs Javascript Typescript
• Experience with RESTful architecture and micro services
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS and GCP
• Ability to write unit and integration tests
• Good verbal and written communication skills
