Summary
Senior User Acceptance Test Analyst responsible for leading end-to-end UAT for complex cross-functional projects on the Loyalty Operations Team. The role ensures business requirements are met and advocates for usability and accessibility while collaborating with product, development, QA, and project management teams in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of end-to-end UAT for complex projects
- Translate business requirements into detailed UAT scenarios and test cases
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to validate functionality
- Integrate UAT processes into project life cycle for agile and waterfall projects
- Identify, document, track defects and ensure timely resolution and retesting
- Provide status updates, test metrics, validations and final sign-off recommendations
- Advocate for end users by ensuring usability, accessibility and business alignment
- Continuously improve UAT processes, tools and standards across the organization
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a culture of quality and accountability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in UAT, business analysis or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail or HP ALM
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading large testing programs including test strategy, plans and schedules
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting and relevant certifications are a plus
