Engineering Manager, Inventory Value

Summary

Lead an engineering squad within the Inventory Value organization to shape technical strategy and architecture for an event driven inventory system. Manage delivery of scalable systems, collaborate with Product and business partners, and drive integration of AI agents and cross team initiatives to improve how inventory is tracked and valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage an engineering team, including hiring and developing talent.
• Define KPIs, roadmaps, and priorities for the unit.
• Drive cross team alignment on technical strategy and dependencies.
• Contribute to architecture, coding, test plans, and deployment planning.
• Ensure teams have tools and resources to deliver solutions.
• Employ continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce overhead.
• Collaborate with Product and business partners to execute strategy.
• Support production operations, monitoring, and incident management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams.
• BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with object oriented languages, preferably Java.
• Proven track record building scalable, performant systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies and dev ops best practices.
• Familiarity with CI CD, alerting, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
