Job Description

Summary

Internship supporting the fabrics team through hands-on administrative and creative tasks to organize fabric libraries, assist with sourcing and shipments, and maintain fabric documentation and swatches. Position designed for current students to gain cross-departmental exposure and practical experience in fashion production and development.

Responsibilities

  • Organize fabric library by season and maintain fabric boards and rings
  • Enter fabric data into software and assess fabric chart accuracy
  • Prepare deliveries and pick-ups with local fabric agents and track fabric shipments
  • Create seasonal cards with swatches and technical fabric information
  • Swatch print pitch sheets and recolor print CADs when necessary
  • Source fabrics from local retailers as needed
  • Manage incoming fabric rolls and provide required documentation

Requirements

  • Must be a current student
  • Basic fabric knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Good sense of color and attention to detail
  • Neat presentation skills
