Facilities Associate

Summary

Responsible for executing maintenance and housekeeping initiatives for the Gallery, ensuring facilities and equipment meet company standards. Works closely with the Gallery Team to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks and minimize downtime. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and supports a safe, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure service levels are met
• Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates
• Manage prioritization and scheduling of work orders to minimize downtime
• Respond quickly to downtime situations affecting operations
• Maintain a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA and HAZMAT requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement related to maintenance

Requirements

• Experience with preventative maintenance and repair
• Experience identifying and presenting process improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs using appropriate equipment
• Ability to maneuver around gallery floor, stock room, and office
• Capable of prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
