SummaryThe Facility Coordinator will support a team to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for customers and employees across multiple Nordstrom Stores and Rack locations. This role involves coordinating scheduling, planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up of all tasks required for building-based maintenance, including interpreting data from the CMMS work order system and scheduling maintenance repairs.
Responsibilities- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
- Develop and maintain standard workflow processes and provide a multi-month look-ahead PM schedule.
- Maintain computer skills necessary to access CMMS work order system and manage parts/material inventory.
- Facilitate execution of on-demand maintenance and minor to medium repairs.
- Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
- Assist Facility Manager with administrative tasks such as parts ordering and vendor management.
- Coordinate system repairs and monitor performance.
- Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies.
- Coordinate PMs with contractors and communicate timelines and support.
- Use CMMS to develop and maintain maintenance schedules and manage equipment data.
- Present performance data to maintenance teams and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements- Associate degree or equivalent technical training/experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a multi-trade environment.
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Advanced computer skills required.
- Experience in planning/scheduling in a Retail, Warehouse, or Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances.
