Responsibilities- Perform weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and log safety inspections.
- Oversee inspections on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC.
- Order maintenance supplies and assist the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expenses.
- Support capital planning projects and coordinate building energy management systems.
- Oversee store systems including Point of Sale (POS) and Telephone systems.
- Respond to after-hours and emergency calls, with potential overtime required.
- Work with limited time off during the busiest season between Black Friday and mid-January.
Requirements- Degree from a vocational school or college in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- 2-5 years of experience or equivalent in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- Background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.
- Ability to multitask, self-prioritize, and work independently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Effective communication skills with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
- Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information.
- Highly self-motivated and customer-centric attitude.
