Summary
The Finance and Operations Business Partner will support Fondation CHANEL Americas by providing financial acumen, operational leadership and risk management to regional programmatic teams. This role partners with program and leadership teams to manage grants, budgets, compliance and to improve systems and processes across the region.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial and operational expertise across the grant lifecycle and regional portfolio analyses
- Support budgeting, reforecasting and strategic financial planning for the region
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory filing requirements and Fondation policies
- Manage timely payments to suppliers and grantee partners and oversee operational processes
- Partner with central finance and operations teams to implement and maintain ERP and other systems
- Deliver risk analyses and financial reporting to support evidence based decision making
- Build capacity in nonfinancial colleagues on financial processes and controls
- Collaborate with regional and headquarters teams to design scalable policies and procedures
- Support Managing Director with financial and operational leadership for the Americas
Requirements
- Significant experience in finance or accounting within a US registered 501(c)(3)
- Recognised accountancy qualification
- Experience with federal and state filings and compliance
- Proven skills in financial analysis, forecasting and budget management
- Experience implementing or optimising finance processes and systems
- Strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills across seniority levels
- Fluent business English; Spanish highly advantageous
- Service oriented, values driven approach with high integrity and discretion
