Sr Manager Culinary Operations

Summary

The Senior Manager of Culinary Operations will lead and oversee culinary programs and operational execution across sites, driving food quality, consistency, and efficiency. This role partners with cross functional teams to implement standards and continuous improvements while managing staff development and performance. The position is based in Long Island City and requires hands on leadership in culinary operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day culinary operational activities and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Develop and implement culinary procedures and best practices
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance of culinary teams
• Coordinate with cross functional partners on menu development and rollout
• Monitor food safety and sanitation compliance
• Analyze operational metrics and identify opportunities for efficiency
• Drive cost control initiatives related to food and labor

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant culinary operations experience
• Proven leadership experience managing culinary teams
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with budgeting and cost control in food operations
• Ability to work on site in Long Island City and travel between locations as needed
