Summary
The Finance Business Partner serves as the primary finance partner for Technology and Product leadership organizations. The role supports financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision-making across complex portfolios. It is a hybrid position based in Seattle, Washington, with four days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Technology and Product SVP and VP leaders and support ongoing financial decision-making.
- Analyze and report on P&L performance, identify trends, and recommend actions.
- Lead monthly business reviews and in-year outlooks, communicating financial insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Support annual planning, scenario analysis, investment business cases, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, and Sourcing/Procurement on financial governance and vendor considerations.
- Improve processes, automation, and forecasting discipline across Technology and Product portfolios.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or economics.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, or a related field.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, ideally in Technology, Engineering, or Product organizations.
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, analytical, executive communication, and influencing skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including experience with SmartView-enabled Excel.
- Experience with Oracle-based ERP systems, SmartView, and Workday; SQL, Looker, Anaplan, or Alteryx experience is a plus.
