Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Ralph Lauren is seeking an ambitious and highly analytical Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join the Corporate Lifestyle and Licensing FP&A team in Nutley, NJ. This role involves serving as a key financial partner to global divisions, supporting Licensing, and acting as the primary financial liaison between Licensing leaders, the business, and Accounting teams. The position requires strong financial and accounting knowledge, with a focus on monthly financial analyses, forecasting, cost management, and strategic planning.

• Act as a key financial partner and advisor to the Licensing leadership team.
• Support strategic decision-making and proactively identify areas of opportunity and risk.
• Oversee monthly close, forecasting, and reporting objectives for supported divisions.
• Manage month-end close process, including journal prep, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Develop strong relationships with licensing leaders to ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Monitor and control costs, implementing expense optimization initiatives.
• Build detailed financial models and forecasts for strategic planning.
• Prepare deliverables for quarterly reports, business reviews, and budget reviews.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and make recommendations to partners.
• Partner with teams to develop short- and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Expert financial planning and modeling skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase and SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
