Floor Set Associate

Summary

The Floor Set Associate partners with Gallery leadership and curators to execute visual merchandising and maintain the presentation standards of the Chicago gallery. This role focuses on installing and maintaining merchandise floor sets, supporting gallery cleanliness and signage placement, and moving inventory as needed to realize the creative vision.

Responsibilities

• Work with Gallery leadership, curators and facilities to execute creative vision and direction
• Execute merchandise floor sets while upholding visual integrity of the gallery
• Support signage placement, gallery maintenance, recovery and cleanliness
• Assist in movement and placement of inventory on the gallery floor and in stockrooms
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure personal and team safety

• Ability to be flexible and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Proven experience upholding safety guidelines and procedures
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs., maneuver in gallery and stockroom spaces, operate basic power tools, and perform prolonged standing, bending, kneeling and climbing
