Summary
Responsible for leading facility maintenance and housekeeping at the gallery, ensuring world class service to guests and optimal condition of equipment and property. Oversees building and grounds maintenance, contractor coordination, budgeting for repairs, and compliance with safety regulations. Plays a key role in hiring, training and developing maintenance team members while supporting capital expenditure forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities.
- Oversee building and grounds maintenance including landscaping, parking lot and exterior upkeep.
- Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, roofing and fire protection systems.
- Maintain and repair material handling equipment and related assets.
- Arrange and oversee contractor services for specialized repairs.
- Monitor budgeting and procurement for supplies and repair parts.
- Assist leadership with forecasting capital expenditures and contract negotiations.
- Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA food safety and HAZMAT requirements.
- Participate in interviewing hiring and training maintenance associates.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in maintenance leadership in a high standards operational environment.
- Hands on experience repairing material handling equipment.
- Proven ability to build teams and manage decision making processes.
- Strong problem solving skills with focus on process improvement.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with RF systems.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
