Lead vision and operational excellence for warehouse and home delivery functions, providing strategic oversight, coaching, and accountability for performance and customer experience across the delivery network.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of warehouse and home delivery operations
- Assess, coach, train, mentor and develop direct reports
- Own P&L management including analysis and reporting
- Align home delivery experience with luxury service standards
- Manage performance of third party delivery and logistics vendors
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and implement corrective actions
- Address and resolve escalated customer service issues
- Visit clients within assigned geographic territory
Requirements
- 5+ years leadership experience in furniture home delivery, warehouse operations or similar
- Experience leading third party carrier providers
- Hiring, training and employee performance management skills
- Knowledge of P&L, profit margins and related business principles
- Strong written, oral, analytical and decision making skills
- Computer literacy with daily use of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Must pass background, MVR and drug screen
