Summary
Lead vision and operational excellence for warehouse and home delivery functions, delivering world-class service and strategic oversight for a regional team. Drive P and L accountability, vendor performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while addressing escalated customer issues and ensuring compliance to standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, coach, train, mentor and develop direct reports to perform at an optimal level
- Strategically plan, direct and oversee daily workflow and deliverables across all delivery and warehouse functions
- Own all facets of P and L management including analysis and reporting
- Align home delivery experience to luxury service standards in Galleries
- Manage performance of home delivery and logistics vendors against cost service and quality metrics
- Drive continual improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions for audit non conformities
- Address and resolve escalated customer service issues promptly
- Visit clients in assigned geographic territory as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years leadership experience in furniture home delivery warehouse operations or similar field
- Experience leading third party carrier providers and managing vendor relationships
- Knowledge of profit and loss profit margins accounting and related business processes
- Strong written oral communication analytical problem solving and decision making skills
- Proven ability to hire train coach and manage employee performance
- Computer literacy with extensive use of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs and visit clients in territory
- Must pass background MVR and drug screen
