General Manager

Summary

The General Manager leads boutique sales, profitability, operations, and team performance. This role develops and executes business strategies, delivers exceptional customer service, and maintains brand presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Set sales and profit goals, develop business strategies, and hold the team accountable for results.
• Lead, coach, train, and motivate employees to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store presentation, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention standards.
• Analyze sell-through, product availability, and market trends to maximize business performance.
• Manage operating costs and budgets, enforce company policies, and build strong client and community relationships.

Requirements

• At least five years of retail management experience; luxury experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
• Knowledge of specialty retail, business development, visual merchandising, and store operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, and email.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of store performance.
