Guesthouse Door Associate

Summary

Provide world class service welcoming guests to the Guesthouse and ensuring a luxury arrival and departure experience. Assist with luggage and packages, maintain privacy and security, and support overall guest safety while representing brand standards. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays and perform duties indoors and outdoors in various climates.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing guests in a professional and personable manner
• Assist guests with luggage and packages in and out of vehicles
• Ensure privacy, security and safety for all guests
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the building services and amenities
• Respond to incidents and disturbances including property emergencies and complaints
• Partner with leadership to resolve disputes
• Comply with brand quality assurance and uniform and appearance standards
• Follow evacuation plans and emergency procedures when needed

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in customer service or similar role within a luxury environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays weekends and overnights
• Knowledge of the local community and area to assist guests with local information
• Possess or ability to qualify for a NYS Guard Card
• Ability to sustain standing walking bending lifting and stooping for extended periods
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
