Summary
Serve as the primary HR contact for U.S. operations supporting retail boutiques, corporate teams, field management, and operational leadership. Partner with leaders to align business objectives with HR solutions, ensure U.S. employment law compliance, and promote a people-centric culture within a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as consultant and coach to managers on organizational structure and workforce planning.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for corporate and retail positions and build talent pipelines.
- Manage employee relations and conduct investigations in accordance with U.S. law.
- Oversee performance management, annual reviews, and manager coaching.
- Partner on compensation reviews, bonus administration, and classification of positions.
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, HRIS data integrity, I-9 compliance, and payroll coordination.
- Produce HR metrics and dashboards such as turnover and headcount.
- Support succession planning, development programs, and learning initiatives.
- Champion company culture and act as liaison between U.S. teams and global HQ.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5 years minimum progressive HR experience including at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner or Generalist.
- Experience supporting retail or luxury consumer goods preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws.
- Demonstrated experience with employee relations investigations and manager coaching.
- High discretion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
