Summary
The Installation Planner manages purchase and installation projects for fixtures, wall coverings, lighting, carpet and furnishings across new construction and remodels for stores, distribution centers and offices. The role coordinates vendors, contractors and internal partners, generates purchase orders, tracks deliveries and supports installation activities including travel to sites.
Responsibilities
- Generate and process purchase orders and requisitions for multiple project types
- Track and coordinate delivery and installation with vendors, contractors and internal teams
- Communicate order and shipping details to vendors, merchants leadership and business units
- Reconcile and code corporate card purchases and assist with purchase order payment reconciliations
- Review and process construction change orders and payment applications
- Develop and enhance reporting tools and create analytical reports to support RFPs
- Travel to stores for fixture installations to verify deliveries provide training and support punch list completion
- Oversee temporary workers trucking partners vendors and store personnel during installations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business accounting operations or related field
- Strong proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills experience with Coupa and Smartsheet a plus
- Experience with purchase order processes ordering tracking and payment preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills ability to prioritize multi task and manage multiple projects
- Highly analytical with ability to research analyze data and create meaningful reports
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in one on one and group settings
- Detail oriented with ownership accountability and initiative
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional night and weekend on site work during installations
