Summary
Perform in-home and on-site furniture repairs to bring products to first quality standards while delivering excellent client-facing service within an assigned territory. Maintain safe and organized work practices and provide quality assurance feedback to improve product standards. Travel to customers homes, RH Galleries and Home Delivery Centers as required and use company tools and vehicle to complete repairs.
Responsibilities
- Repair furniture to first quality standards in customers homes and company locations
- Perform touch up repairs on wood leather and fabric and apply coatings and finishes to various surfaces
- Work in client homes maintaining professional communication and relationships
- Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area and promote safety
- Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback to improve product quality
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements and schedules
- Use company provided vehicle tools laptop phone and corporate card as required
Requirements
- Sense of teamwork ownership urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to do touch up repairs on wood leather fabric and knowledge of framing and furniture construction
- Knowledge of coatings and finishes for metal stone marble and concrete
- Outstanding communication and problem solving skills for customer service
- Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
- Ability to visit clients in assigned geographic territory and operate company vehicle
- Must pass a background check drug screen and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
