Summary
The Interim Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for an assigned luxury brand at the store counter. This role balances selling and teaching, manages vendor events and promotions, and uses in-store and digital tools to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products aligned with customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to drive business results
- Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty including opening new rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Maintain department presentation through organization and cleanliness
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and ability to use networking and technology
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
