Interim Beauty Sales - MAC - Los Cerritos Center

Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences and drive sales in the Nordstrom Beauty Department, representing MAC and other luxury beauty products. Build customer relationships through in-store and digital selling, beauty services, and product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer goals.
• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
• Book appointments and support sales at beauty events and services.
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, organized, and customer-ready department.
• Build customer loyalty, process sales and returns, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Keep current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training.

Requirements

• Passion for customer service, beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to address customer concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain in motion for 6-8 hours per shift, frequently bend and reach, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
