Summary
The Interim Warehouse Operations Coordinator supports flow and optimization within the fulfillment distribution center by assisting the Operations Manager with shift readiness, monitoring productivity and metrics, leading safety and operational tasks, and supporting process improvement and end of shift duties.
Responsibilities
- Support department safety quality and performance while driving efficiency and flow
- Create daily assignments and project actions and reassign team members to meet priorities
- Monitor productivity metrics and communicate hourly goals and progress to managers
- Lead start of shift meetings update communication boards and support end of shift duties
- Complete safety observations and model safe behavior and judgement
- Communicate and collaborate with safety facilities ICQA and training teams
- Complete daily trackers and provide feedback to Operations Managers for shift handoffs
Requirements
- One plus years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center
- Proven time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments processes and flow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Outlook Word and warehouse management systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
- Maintain a sense of urgency and consistent follow through
