Summary
RH Interior Designers create original residential interior designs for walk-in clientele and build a thriving design business within their Gallery. They guide clients through the full design experience, from initial consultation to delivery, while achieving project and Gallery fiscal goals.
Responsibilities
- Create original residential designs using the RH design point of view and product assortment.
- Define design objectives based on each client's space, architecture, environment, and lifestyle.
- Present concepts using floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations.
- Meet clients in the Gallery and in their homes, and lead multiple projects of varying sizes.
- Oversee all phases of the client experience and meet design project and consulting goals.
- Support and teach daily client interactions and help motivate and inspire the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience at a design firm or in high-end furniture or luxury retail.
- Degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a related field preferred; professional portfolio required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related space-planning and rendering programs.
- Strong graphic and digital presentation skills; hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred.
- Strong artistic skills, attention to detail, project management ability, and knowledge of design trends.
- Leadership or business experience preferred; proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
- Ability to travel locally or out of state, maneuver around the Gallery, and lift or move items up to 25 lbs.
