Interior Designer Intermediate

Summary

The Intermediate Interior Designer provides design services to walk-in clients in a luxury gallery. The role develops residential design concepts and projects while collaborating with lead designers and gallery leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver luxury interior design services and execute small-scale projects, supporting larger projects with the design team.
• Create design presentations that communicate concepts, space plans, and product selections.
• Manage the client experience from consultation through delivery and site visits.
• Support gallery visual and quality standards, represent the brand professionally, and work toward fiscal goals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of design experience; experience with a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail is preferred.
• Professional portfolio required; a degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and space-planning or rendering programs preferred.
• Strong artistic, organizational, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, move around the gallery, and travel locally or out of state; a driver's license is preferred.
