Inventory Control Associate

Summary

Responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product in a distribution center while maintaining safety, security and productivity standards. Operate within team and departmental goals to ensure inventory is handled to prevent damage and meet shipping requirements. Perform physical tasks including lifting, staging, and loading as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order.
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices.
• Ensure accuracy and proper stacking of loads to prevent damage.
• Store, put away, pick and ship product accurately.
• Meet individual, team and departmental productivity and performance goals.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safe work areas.
• Conduct operations in compliance with federal, state and local safety laws.
• Follow handling procedures for large and fragile items.

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution experience.
• Basic mathematics and reading skills.
• Strong understanding of inventory flow.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, bend and climb as required.
