Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist manages store inventory at the Beverly Hills Flagship, ensuring accurate receiving, ticketing, shipping and returns processing. This role supports cycle counts and bi-annual inventories, maintains inventory records and supplies, and collaborates with store management and operations leaders to support stock levels and aftersales service.
Responsibilities
- Receive packages and process merchandise into inventory the same business day
- Print and ticket merchandise and process price updates
- Generate packing and shipping transfers and return to vendor shipments accurately
- Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and reconcile discrepancies
- Process and follow up on aftersales service and manage damaged merchandise inventory
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for receiving and shipping documentation
- Order and maintain shipping selling and store supplies
- Analyze business needs and assist with replenishment and inventory strategies
Requirements
- 2+ years of operations experience; luxury retail experience preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task with accuracy
- Ability to analyze information and problem solve
- Experience with internal inventory systems and external shipping software
- Ability to follow written and verbal policies and directives
- Focus on asset protection and inventory control
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
