Inventory Control Supervisor

Summary

The Inventory Control Supervisor manages store inventory operations including receiving, ticketing, shipping and returns to maintain accurate stock levels and support the sales team in a luxury retail environment. This role partners with store management to conduct cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and ensures documentation and aftersales service are processed timely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments and returns within the business day.
• Ticket merchandise and update pricing and inventory records.
• Generate packing shipping transfers and return to vendor documentation.
• Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain neat accurate filing systems for receiving and shipping records.
• Manage inventory for damages and aftersales service processing and follow up.
• Order and maintain adequate levels of shipping selling and office supplies within budget.
• Work with store management to analyze business and replenish stock.

Requirements

• 2+ years of operations or back of house supervisory experience; luxury retail preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task with accuracy.
• Ability to analyze information and problem solve.
• Experience with inventory systems and external shipping software programs.
• Familiarity with asset protection and inventory control practices.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
