Inventory Specialist

Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective flow of goods in and out of the boutique to enable a seamless client experience. This role works closely with the Inventory Supervisor and Operations Manager to process, organize, and maintain stock while upholding CHANEL operational standards. The position requires in-store presence to support receiving, shipping, cycle counts, and boutique opening and closing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process received stock and record inventory in the system according to brand procedures.
• Organize and maintain stockroom and boutique merchandise to CHANEL standards.
• Prepare and ship outbound shipments following brand shipping protocols.
• Execute stock cycle count program and annual physical inventory with supervisory direction.
• Support opening and closing procedures, receiving, and other Heart of House tasks to ensure client service.
• Foster positive relationships with boutique team members to support teamwork and trust.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to move and lift items up to 25 lbs; may include overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• Flexible availability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for the brand and a desire to learn and grow; foreign language skills preferred but not required.
