Summary
The Stock Controller supports operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and seamless product flow between the stockroom and sales floor at the Highland Park store. This back-of-house role is responsible for receiving, shipping, transfers, replenishment, cycle counts, and maintaining organized stockroom operations. The Stock Controller partners with store management and the sales team to support daily operations and deliver a premium client experience.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily inventory activities including receiving, shipping, transfers, replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and product availability through proper processing and stock organization.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure accurate documentation and processing.
- Perform biweekly consolidations and support physical inventories and other inventory control initiatives.
- Support sales floor requests, replenishment, and client-related product inquiries to enable selling opportunities.
- Monitor inventory reports, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues for resolution.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and efficient stockroom while enforcing loss prevention and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retail stock, inventory, operations, logistics, or related experience.
- Experience in luxury retail or a premium customer-focused environment preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform accurate inventory counts, basic calculations, and analyze inventory reports.
- Effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a client-focused mindset.
